A Smile is Contagious! One of my favorite parts of my job at Advanced Machinery is talking to enthusiastic owners of the machines and equipment that we sell. As a Mom and Grandma, some of my favorite stories are about Parents and Grandparents Re-Claiming the good old fashioned meaning of QUALITY time with their family & Grandkids by teaching them how to use their Hegner Scroll Saws and how joyful and proud they feel to share their knowledge, time & prized Hegner Scroll Saw with them. Our products are a different angle for kids to explore, yet stay in touch with a different kind of ‘High-Tech’. Virtual Reality Goggles can not compare to hands-on creativity which can restore a child’s sense of self-worth, new joy and accomplishment. How many video games out there truly give our kids a tangible skill and sense of pride that they can share with anyone and pass down thru generations to come? I recall a recent story where a Dad taught his 8 year old how to use a scroll saw and the boy loved it so much, 2 years later, that he now has a following of customers and is selling his scrolled works at a local market and it was time for an upgrade to a larger Hegner. I feel the warmth and love through these stories and even YOU can’t help but smile!! I love my job!!!… just saying … :-)
