HEGNER DRUM SANDER TWS-230

The German made Hegner TWS-230 drum sander is an ideal complementary machine to a scroll saw. It enables the removal of remnants of glued on cutting patterns and allows furry cuts to be made crisp and precise. Any small scale wooden work piece will benefit from final skim sanding which makes this machine a favorite for box makers. The optional fence assists with squaring edges and feeding work pieces over the roller. The micro adjust raise and lower allows precise cutting depth. Abrasive strips are velcro backed, available in 4 grits and wind onto the roller in a spiral which avoids parallel scratching on work pieces. The Sanding Aid keeps your fingers away from the drum and applies even pressure when sanding thin, delicate work pieces.
